About The Position

Collects, compiles and maintains demographic, clinical and follow-up data on all cancer cases diagnosed and/or treated at Providence facilities in the Portland Service Area. Extracts data from all available sources including EPIC, Mosaic, and other department-specific databases. Prepares information state submission, NCDB submission and for local analysis and dissemination. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Or equivalent education/experience
  • Upon hire: Oncology Data Specialist - National Cancer Registrars Association
  • 2 years Cancer registry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • In lieu of Associate's degree: Additional 2 years cancer registry experience
