About The Position

Southern Pain and Spine is a trusted interventional pain management practice serving patients throughout North Georgia and Metro Atlanta. Our experienced, board-certified providers deliver personalized treatment plans and advanced minimally invasive procedures designed to reduce pain, improve function, and enhance quality of life. We are committed to compassionate care and creating positive experiences for every patient we serve. We're seeking a Registered Nurse to support patients throughout their procedural and recovery experience while working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you'll help coordinate patient care, perform clinical assessments, monitor treatment progress, and contribute to a safe, efficient clinical environment focused on outstanding patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and nursing best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push up to 300 pounds.
  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and fine motor coordination required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience preferred.
  • Pain Management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Athena EHR preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing assessments, obtain vital signs, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Evaluate patient conditions and promptly communicate significant findings to providers and care teams.
  • Assist with developing, implementing, and updating individualized patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and clinical staff to support treatment goals.
  • Provide nursing care throughout pre-procedure, procedural, and recovery phases.
  • Monitor patient status, responses to treatment, and overall progress throughout the care continuum.
  • Document observations and patient outcomes according to established standards.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to support staff while promoting adherence to clinical protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, ethical standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
