About The Position

This role is for a Clinical Psychologist looking to make an impact in skilled nursing facilities. The position involves providing psychological services to geriatric, disabled, and medically complex populations who often have high rates of mental health and cognitive needs. The psychologist will assess, diagnose, and treat residents, manage a caseload with support, collaborate with facility staff, complete documentation, and provide care both in-person and via telehealth. The work is described as meaningful, varied, and grounded in clinical excellence, aiming to prevent hospitalizations, reduce behavioral crises, support staff, and restore dignity to residents.

Requirements

  • Hold a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
  • Are licensed in California
  • Are Medicare-eligible (we assist with credentialing and paneling)
  • Value evidence-based practice and clinical flexibility
  • Are comfortable working with complexity and ambiguity
  • Want autonomy without isolation, and support without micromanagement

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish, Armenian, and Chinese-speaking desirable
  • Ability to provide in-person care
  • Prior SNF or geriatric experience is not required, but curiosity, compassion, and the ability to see the person behind the chart are essential.

Responsibilities
