The Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to provide clinical psychological services. This role involves conducting psychodiagnostic assessments, formulating case conceptualizations, diagnosing according to DSM criteria, and developing treatment plans. The psychologist will provide individual psychotherapy, educate patients and families, and develop strategies for managing patient behaviors and illnesses. Program-specific activities include designing clinical programs, coordinating services, evaluating program performance, and reporting to the Director. The role also involves educating patients, families, and other healthcare providers on psychological factors in illness and recovery, conducting research, and presenting findings. Professional conduct, adherence to ethical standards, and participation in multidisciplinary treatment planning are essential. The position requires attendance at continuing education and departmental meetings.
