This position is located at Munson Army Health Clinic, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Requirements

• US Citizens
• Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
• Current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.
• One year of specialized experience which includes conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations of behavioral health patients, providing individual or group clinical counseling and analyzing information collected to determine psychiatric diagnosis treatment plans or recommendations.
• Must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Responsibilities

• Screen and interview patients, and perform psychological and bio-psychosocial evaluations.
• Determine the appropriateness of the patient receiving services in the primary care setting.
• Use objective and measurable outcomes to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Develop, teach, and provide oversight for classes that promote education and skill-building.
• Provide high level expertise in human behavior as a primary care team member.
• PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
