Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) – Specialized Diagnostic & Neuropsychological Testing
About The Position
This is a 100% evaluation-based practice, with no therapy caseloads, allowing you to focus entirely on deep-dive clinical assessments and professional report writing. The practice offers a rare level of professional autonomy in an outpatient clinical setting. Clinicians have the freedom to shape their clinical practice based on their expertise, focusing on Adult Only, Adult & Child/Adolescent, or Child & Adolescent Only populations. The clinical scope includes Neurodevelopmental Profiles (ASD and ADHD), Cognitive & Intellectual Assessment (IQ and executive functioning), and Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluations for learning disabilities and complex differential diagnostics. The practice invests in the newest testing materials and ongoing professional training. Opportunities are available at modern outpatient offices in both Madison and Milwaukee.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program.
- Must be currently licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin or be eligible to become licensed by the DSPS.
- Demonstrated proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting comprehensive neuropsychological and cognitive batteries.
- A genuine passion for patient care.
- Ability to excel at easing the natural anxieties and fears associated with testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide gold-standard psychological evaluations.
- Conduct deep-dive clinical assessments.
- Write professional reports.
- Administer, score, and interpret comprehensive neuropsychological and cognitive batteries.
- Provide definitive answers for Neurodevelopmental Profiles (ASD and ADHD).
- Conduct Cognitive & Intellectual Assessment (IQ and executive functioning).
- Perform Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluations for learning disabilities and complex differential diagnostics.
- Act as a supportive guide to help clarify a patient’s concerns and provide them with a clear, empathetic path forward.
