About The Position

Cotler Psychology Services is seeking a Florida-licensed psychologist (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.) to provide specialized psychological care to seniors residing in skilled nursing and assisted living communities throughout the Leesburg, Florida area. This is more than a traditional clinical role-it's an opportunity to create meaningful change in the emotional health and quality of life of older adults, while practicing in a supportive, flexible environment that prioritizes ethics over quotas. For over 30 years, Cotler Psychology Services has been recognized as a leader in geriatric mental health care. Founded by Dr. Kerry Cotler, the organization collaborates with more than 160 long-term care communities across the state. The mission is simple but powerful: to improve the mental well-being and daily lives of seniors through compassionate, evidence-based psychological services. Clinicians at Cotler Psychology Services are trusted to make clinical decisions without interference from administrative pressure, ensuring that patients receive care tailored to their individual needs. Unlike corporate-driven healthcare models that prioritize productivity metrics, this position offers an environment that values clinical expertise, autonomy, and meaningful patient interactions. You will work directly with older adults who face a wide variety of challenges, including mood and cognitive disorders, grief, adjustment to chronic illness, and other life transitions. Your work will be highly impactful, as many of the patients you serve rely on professional guidance to maintain emotional balance, cope with medical changes, and navigate the complexities of aging.
