The Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join the Centralized Faculty Practice Program at Mount Sinai Hospital. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a psychologist committed to providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults within a highly collaborative academic medical center. The Mount Sinai Department of Psychiatry is a dynamic and nationally recognized leader in clinical care, research, and education. The department is consistently ranked among the top in the nation for NIH funding and is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a leading academic psychiatry program. Faculty benefit from a rich interdisciplinary environment that supports clinical innovation, teaching, and scholarly development. This position is located at Mount Sinai Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, adjacent to the Icahn School of Medicine campus. Mount Sinai Hospital is a 1,100+ bed tertiary-care academic medical center internationally recognized for excellence in patient care, education, and scientific discovery. The psychologist will provide outpatient psychological evaluation and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a wide range of psychiatric conditions. The role is well suited for a generalist psychologist with strong expertise in evidence-based psychotherapies, particularly cognitive behavioral approaches for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other common mental health concerns. The department is particularly interested in candidates with training or experience in specialized behavioral interventions, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT), and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), though such expertise is not required. The psychologist will join a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and social workers and will play an important role in delivering high-quality outpatient care while contributing to the academic mission of the department. In addition to clinical responsibilities, faculty in this role may participate in teaching, supervision of trainees, and scholarly activity, consistent with the mission of the Icahn School of Medicine.
