Clinical Psychologist - Autism Spectrum Disorders
About The Position
Acorn Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for individuals with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a part-time, hybrid role with flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay. The psychologist will be responsible for administering assessments, integrating results, and providing high-quality diagnostic reports and feedback to families. Requirements
- Advanced degree in Psychology
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Limited Licensed Psychologist in Michigan
- Proficiency in autism diagnostic tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Confidence in working independently with clinical integrity
- Commitment to compassionate, client-centered care
Nice To Haves
- 1–3+ years of experience conducting ASD diagnostic evaluations
- Experience with hybrid/telehealth models
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews, direct/indirect assessments (including ADOS-2, ADI-R, and similar tools).
- Score, interpret, and write comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Deliver findings and recommendations to families and referral sources.
- Submit completed reports and invoices within 48 hours of patient contact.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all evaluations.
