About The Position

Skywood Recovery is seeking to employ a Clinical Psychiatrist/Medical Director. The facility, opened in April 2016, in Augusta, Michigan, is just minutes from Kalamazoo. Skywood serves a diverse adult patient population, age 18 and over. This is a full-time opportunity involving both Clinical and Medical Director duties in Residential Treatment Center & IOP settings with an adult caseload. The work schedule is Monday - Friday with participation in a weekend Call Rotation 1:6. Duties include care of assigned mental health, substance abuse, and detox patients, and psychiatric evaluations on new patients. Skywood Recovery is a premier, full-service addiction treatment center in Augusta, Michigan, providing the full continuum of care from detox, residential, to partial hospitalization programs. Their specialization in dual diagnosis treatment allows them to also address underlying mental health concerns, and they pride themselves on providing individualized treatment for each patient.

Requirements

• Michigan Medical License (or ability to obtain)
• B/C or B/E in General Psychiatry
