Requirements
- BS and/or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Residency experience required.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience required.
- All employees must have basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.
- Unrestricted pharmacy licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work independently and handle stress appropriately.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other members of hospital and pharmacy staff.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
- Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns.
- Fosters a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
Nice To Haves
- PGY2 residency in Psychiatry preferred.
- Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or Psychiatry preferred.
Responsibilities
- The Clinical Psychiatric Pharmacist is responsible for daily team-based rounding on their assigned unit and providing exemplary clinical care to their patients.
- The team member ensures optimal clinical care in the acute and residential/partial psychiatric setting, which includes aspects of general medicine, through assessment of patient-specific factors and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
