About The Position

The Program Mgr (RN) is responsible for creating, operationalizing and managing the Structural Heart program, to include all phases of the patient care pathway and navigation experience, at Providence Regional Medical Center (PRMCE). The Program Manager will optimize patient, staff and physician satisfaction with these programs and ensure they become regional benchmarks. They will develop these programs to increase patient volumes with a positive payer mix while providing a benchmark quality of care delivery within PRMCE. The Program Manager collaborates with other functional managers within PRMCE that have operational impact on the Structural Heart Program. The top priority of this position will be to stand up, operationalize and maintain a regional benchmark within the Providence system. In addition to the normal priorities of establishing a program (payer contracting, equipment/supply needs, vendor relations, staff coordination, etc.), with support from CVL/Nurse Manager and Periop and Interventional Director, this position also includes responsibility for all phases of the patient care pathway with direct responsibility for the overall patient experience (e.g. selection, education/pre-hab to include functional assessment, scheduling, day of surgery, post-surgery car (up to 30 days post procedure) and post-discharge physical therapy coordination). This will also include developing and maintaining same day discharge for qualifying patinet selection. As the program becomes formally established and as time allows while establishing this program, this individual's additional time will focus on optimizing already established programs (both outpatient & inpatient) at PRMCE. They will review the entire patient care pathway and work to optimize the entire value proposition of these programs with an emphasis on overall patient experience, digital innovation (e.g. post-surgery Telehealth visits) and growing market share in all these facilities.
