Facilitates the delivery of quality care to the trauma and acute care surgery patient, either directly or indirectly, throughout the continuum of care from pre-hospitalization to rehabilitation. Serves as a liaison to national, state, regional and community resources/agencies involved in trauma and acute care surgery. Responsible for the oversight leadership of outreach and injury prevention.
