About The Position

The Cardiology Program Coordinator provides planning and management of all Cardiology Program clinical initiatives and program development strategies to improve outcomes and achieve business objectives. The position identifies and initiates plans to respond to new clinical and quality program requirements and opportunities for improvement supported by external benchmarking. Provides education, technical expertise, and advanced clinical and analytical skills in the management of the cardiac patient population. Coordinates and manages program responsibilities and expectations with the Cardiology Program Manager and other roles within the department. Interacts with all levels of the organization, from front-line staff to senior management. Collaborates with System for sharing of best practices, reporting methodologies and identification of potential care delivery improvement opportunities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Current enrollment in a BSN program may be considered.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 2 years of Cardiology or equivalent specialty setting.
