About The Position

United Therapeutics (Nasdaq: UTHR) is a publicly-traded biotech or pharmaceutical company operating as a public benefit corporation, focused on developing novel pharmaceutical therapies and technologies to expand the availability of transplantable organs. Founded in 1996, the company has developed six FDA-approved therapies for rare diseases like pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD), and neuroblastoma. Their near-term pipeline aims to develop additional therapies for PAH and pulmonary fibrosis (PF). United Therapeutics is also working on creating manufactured organs to address the shortage of transplantable organs, believing an unlimited supply will eliminate transplant waiting lists and cure end-stage organ diseases. The Clinical Practice Liaison (CPL) will act as a regional clinical and scientific resource, connecting the needs of nurses, advanced practice providers (APPs), and MDs with United Therapeutics' resources and information. This role involves clinical exchange with thought leaders, educating on company products and disease states, responding to information requests, and conducting clinical in-services. The CPL will identify and build relationships with key thought leaders in IPF/ILD/PH-ILD, present product data, respond to off-label requests, and provide clinical/scientific exchange to ensure optimal patient care. The role also includes training internal stakeholders, serving as a therapeutic area expert, contributing to medical affairs strategy, capturing and delivering scientific insights, and collaborating compliantly with field medical and commercial teams. Additionally, the CPL will provide cross-functional strategic input, lead and execute clinical projects, and contribute to content creation. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with professional HCP organizations and patient advocacy groups.
