About The Position

The Clinical Placement Coordinator (CPC) plays a crucial role in establishing partnerships between FPU's health training programs and clinical facilities to secure quality placements for students. This position collaborates with program leadership to manage clinical schedules, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, coordinate faculty and student orientation, and address placement-related concerns. The CPC also conducts placement analysis, participates in accreditation activities, and oversees operational aspects of clinical placements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with clinical tracking software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate clinical schedules and develop rotation schedules.
  • Maintain student and preceptor data in clinical tracking software.
  • Foster positive relationships with clinical site staff.
  • Oversee the administration of clinical education.
  • Assist faculty and preceptors with clinical tracking software.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks related to clinical rotations.
  • Monitor student progress and troubleshoot concerns.
  • Assist with immersion activities and compile reports.
  • Prepare and monitor clinical affiliation agreements.
  • Answer inquiries from students and preceptors.
  • Comply with accreditation standards and university policies.
