CLINICAL PHP MANAGER (LCSW/LCPC) - Full Time
About The Position
Located in Garfield Park, the child/adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) is designed for school-age children who may benefit from therapeutic behavioral health services but do not need 24-hour monitoring and adolescents ages 12 through 17 who struggle with a behavioral health disorder or mental health issues but are stable enough to live at home during treatment. POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical PHP Manager provides direct patient care under the Director of PHP/IOP Services. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, facilitation of group meetings, coordination of patient transportation, assistance with discharge planning, and department recruitment. The Program Manager is additionally responsible for the implantation of programs, training and the schedule.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology or any Human Health related field
- 3+ years of experience working within an inpatient psychiatric hospital with children, adolescents and adults
- Prior experience with utilizing crisis intervention verbal and physical techniques
- Experience conducting group therapy sessions
- Experience performing vital signs
- Experience documenting nursing progress notes
- Experience Supervising a staff of at least 4 employees or more
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
