CLINICAL PHP MANAGER (LCSW/LCPC) - Full Time
About The Position
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an intensive five-day treatment program serving children and adolescents ages 5 through 17 who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems. Patients follow a personalized treatment plan for therapy and medication management. They are only required to be in the hospital during their scheduled PHP hours. POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical PHP Manager provides direct patient care under the Director of PHP/IOP Services. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, facilitation of group meetings, coordination of patient transportation, assistance with discharge planning, and department recruitment. The Program Manager is additionally responsible for the implantation of programs, training and the schedule.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology or any Human Health related field
- 3+ years of experience working within an inpatient psychiatric hospital with children, adolescents and adults
- Prior experience with utilizing crisis intervention verbal and physical techniques
- Experience conducting group therapy sessions
- Experience performing vital signs
- Experience documenting nursing progress notes
- Experience Supervising a staff of at least 4 employees or more
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
