Requirements
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency and/or BS Pharmacy Degree plus 3 years of experience working as a clinical pharmacy specialist with direct patient care responsibility.
- Certification as a licensed Registered Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Solid Organ Transplant.
- 5 years of experience working as a clinical pharmacist in a solid organ transplant setting
- Board certification is preferred and required within 3 years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Oversees patient care functions, including maintaining accurate records and refining medication therapies to improve treatment results.
- Handles task prioritization, adjusts to shifts in practice, and addresses day-to-day operational challenges. Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.
- Provides training and instruction to staff members and pharmacy students.
- Participates in initiatives for process enhancement, policy revisions, or research activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
