Clinical Pharmacology Intern
About The Position
Servier is searching for a dynamic Clinical Pharmacology Intern to join their growing Clinical Pharmacology team in the US. The Clinical Pharmacology team supports programs across all phases of clinical development through developing and executing clinical pharmacology strategies, strong cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners, designing, executing, interpreting and reporting studies including but not limited to first-in-human, drug interaction, biopharmaceutics and mass balance studies. This role involves reviewing and interpreting PK/PD data generated during the conduct of clinical trials and participating in dose selection for first-in-human studies and Go/No Go decisions when needed. This role includes unique exposure to clinical pharmacology in pharmaceutical development, and you'll have the opportunity to coauthor a publication or more.
Requirements
- Current Master’s, PharmD or PhD candidate in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics, or related field
- Familiarity with clinical pharmacology and drug development
- Team player with inter-personal skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Must be able to commit to the entire duration of the internship
Responsibilities
- Support clinical pharmacology activities in support of drug development and assist with the review, organization, and interpretation of scientific data
- Participate in cross-functional team discussions and meetings and contribute to the preparation of documents and presentations
- Conduct background research and summarize relevant scientific literature
- Assist with exploratory analyses and visualization of data
- Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed
Benefits
- The pay range for this role is $34-$44/hr.
