About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist has the responsibility for the provision of high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life. Pharmacists work closely with our ED physicians at the bedside to evaluate patient needs, comorbidities and provide recommendations for drug therapy and dosing. The Covenant ED is a Level 2 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center making it a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients that require expert clinical pharmacist support. Requirements

  • PharmD in Pharmacy or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Upon hire: Texas Pharmacist Registered.

Nice To Haves

  • Acute Care Hospital Pharmacy experience, 1 year or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
