About The Position
Monitors drug therapy to improve patient outcome and quality of care, recommends rational and cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives and provides accurate and efficient medication distribution. Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Supervises pharmacy technical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy degree from an accredited university
- License to practice pharmacy in Alabama
- Current AHA BLS must be provided or obtained by the end of the orientation period.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience strongly preferred.
