We’re looking for a Clinical Pharmacist who wants their work to mean something — a pharmacist who brings strong clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and accountability to every prescription reviewed and every patient supported. This is an on‑site role in Albany, NY, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (EST). An active New York Pharmacist license is required. Why This Role Matters As a Clinical Pharmacist at LUX Infusion, you play a critical role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and appropriate specialty medication therapy. Your work directly supports patient outcomes, compliance, and trust across the care continuum. In this role, your work will: Help patients safely manage complex specialty medications Support clinicians and care teams through expert review and collaboration Strengthen pharmacy operations through accuracy, oversight, and consistency Every intervention, verification, and counseling interaction helps protect patient wellbeing.

Requirements

  • An active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of New York
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, infusion pharmacy, or complex medication management
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
  • Commitment to regulatory compliance, patient safety, and quality care
  • Clear, professional communication skills with patients and care partners

Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and clinical appropriateness
  • Evaluate patient records to ensure therapy aligns with diagnosis and specialty disease states
  • Monitor and manage drug therapies, identifying and recommending interventions as needed
  • Provide patient medication counseling and education when appropriate
  • Detect and prevent therapeutic duplications, interactions, and incompatibilities
  • Oversee and validate pharmacy technician activities and documentation as required
  • Collaborate closely with Nursing, Clinical Services, Reimbursement, Quality Management, Managed Markets, and Pharmacy Services teams
  • Support specialty pharmacy and therapy‑specific Centers of Excellence operations
