Advanced Rx is a compounding pharmacy in Fort Washington, PA, hiring a full-time pharmacist. This role involves verification of prescriptions, counseling patients over the phone, and speaking with prescribers' offices for clarifications. The pharmacy's phones are consistently active during business hours, with calls often back-to-back. The position requires maintaining calmness and professionalism during patient interactions, even when the call queue is busy. Performance is measured through workflow tasks and verification metrics, with direct feedback provided by leadership. This role emphasizes teamwork, with pharmacists sharing schedules and needing to collaborate rather than focus solely on individual metrics. Decisions are made with employees in mind, and as a small business, Advanced Rx can adapt quickly without corporate bureaucracy. The role offers scheduled lunch breaks, minimal weekend hours, no 12-14 hour shifts, and is closed on Sundays and all major holidays with holiday pay. Compounding experience is not required, as extensive training and support will be provided during onboarding, along with access to all clinical and process information.
