About The Position

Exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a new retail pharmacy in collaboration with our clinic in Norman! This role oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, and ensures the monitoring of patient medication therapy. The Clinical Pharmacist acts as a resource for medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This role identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication-related problems through intervention with the physician. Additionally, the pharmacist supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication administration and follows approved policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory standards in executing job responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a School or College of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
• Requires a current pharmacist license from applicable State Board of Pharmacy
