About The Position
The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, the IV admixture program, and drug information. The role works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and oversees the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff. The position is PRN at Hillcrest Hospital Claremore, a 49-bed acute care medical center offering inpatient and outpatient services.
Requirements
- B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- ACLS certification; required for attending Code Blue.
Nice To Haves
- Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
- One year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
