About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time, permanent position. This role involves demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of current pharmacotherapeutic principles, medical terminology, pathologies, disease state and population management, and age-appropriate therapy. The position is remote, with the primary work hours being 8am to 5pm EST. There is a rotating weekend schedule (1 weekend every 4 weeks) and rotating holidays (1 holiday per year). Flexibility to work additional hours as needed is expected, and the work schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree in Pharmacy required
- Pharmacist License in FL and willing to get a secondary license in VA
- Must have Virginia license within 90 days of Sentara start date.
- At least 3 years of experience (or a residency in managed care could count in lieu of experience)
- Experience with online pharmacy adjudication systems required (i.e., PA Hub)

- Will consider new graduated pharmacists and pharmacists not licensed in Virginia due to relocation.
