About The Position

This is an overnight position one week on one week off. Monday thru Friday 9:00 PM to 7:00 am and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 pm to 7:00 am. The role involves providing and supporting pharmaceutical care, including medication dispensing, preventing, identifying, and resolving drug-related problems, promoting optimal therapeutics, and medication education. The pharmacist will also participate in performance improvement, academic programs, and clinical research activities of the department, and serve as a liaison to the medical and nursing staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy)
• Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products
• Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity
• Computer skills and accuracy in calculations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Supervision of technician employees
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida or eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 90 days of the date of hire/transfer
• Less than one year pharmacist/intern experience

Nice To Haves

• Post-graduate residency training
• Experience and/or advanced training in specific practice area
