About The Position

BJC/Saint Luke’s Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support our primary care clinics in Independence and Blue Springs, Missouri. In this role, you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive medication management and contributing your expertise to Saint Luke’s Population Health initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Licensed Pharmacist (KS) - Kansas Board of Pharmacy
• Licensed Pharmacist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
• Medication Therapy Services (MTS) Certification - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• 3-5 years Applicable Experience
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Licensed Pharmacist - Various
• Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Design, monitor, and adjust patient-specific therapeutic regimens to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work alongside physicians and clinic staff to clarify orders and document interventions in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Prepare, dispense, and verify prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and regulatory compliance.
• Provide routine counseling on drug information, side effects, and adherence to patients and caregivers.
• Supervise supportive personnel, manage departmental projects, and lead system-wide health initiatives.
