This position is responsible for performing activities associated with the administration, development, and management of pharmacy care, including assisting with formulary, utilization management, specialty pharmacy management, medication therapy management, client support, and innovative clinical programs. The role involves enhancing operational efficiencies and financial impact through data-driven initiatives, supporting advanced pharmacy practices with AI and machine learning, and optimizing pharmacy systems, content updates, and automation tools. Key tasks include constructing clinical decision support rules, interpreting complex data to achieve actionable insights for improved health outcomes and cost reduction, and assisting in the development of predictive models to forecast medication trends, identify risks, and support value-based care. The position ensures accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proper data governance, and assists with the development of dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or MS SQL. It also involves leading and contributing to process mapping, workflow design, and change management, supporting population health and targeted medication initiatives, and communicating insights and findings to leadership and cross-functional teams. Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacist in (IL, NM or TX).
  • Experience using window-based word processing, spreadsheet and relational database software.
  • Drug information skills.
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of practice guidelines or practice parameters.
  • Knowledge of Pharmacoeconomics.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement processes and techniques.
  • Knowledge of medication uses evaluation principles.
  • Ability to remain at a workstation and perform computer entry for long periods of time, as required.
  • Skills to handle multiple priorities and manage communications professionally to achieve issue resolution with customers, employees, or management.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • 3 years of experience within Pharmacy practice.
  • Additional certifications and residency experience.
  • Experience with dashboards and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Training/certification in pharmacy informatics.
  • Experience in predictive analytics or statistical modeling.
