About The Position
This is a Per Diem Clinical IP Pharmacist position at Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL. The role involves evening shifts and every other weekend work, with specific start times for shifts. Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist license
- BLS or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
- Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
- Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
- Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
