As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will ensure patients receive their prescriptions accurately, timely and respectfully. You will appropriately select, dose, administer and dispense medications as indicated, helping provide patients with the treatments they need to improve their health and well-being. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 12:30pm to 9:00pm.

Requirements

  • PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
  • Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross and completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in the administration of immunizations or certification within 90 days of hire for individuals administering immunizations

Nice To Haves

  • Board certification
  • Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or relevant experience preferred for Clinical Pharmacists hired in a Specialized Pharmacy practice area

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered and evidence-based medication services.
  • Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
  • Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.
  • Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences.
  • Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients.
