The Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients. This consists of ensuring drug therapy that results in safe, effective, and cost conscious use of pharmaceuticals. Must demonstrate excellent interdisciplinary communication and exhibit strong educational and precepting abilities. Ideal candidates have PGY1 residency training or PGY2 residency training in a specialty area. This clinical pharmacist position would work 8 hour shifts. All inpatient clinical pharmacist positions work an average of 3 evenings per month (start time between 1400-1500) and rotate approximately every 4th weekend. Provides cross‑campus perioperative clinical pharmacy coverage at the 39th & Rainbow and Indian Creek Campuses, supporting consistent, high‑quality patient care. Serves as a clinical pharmacy resource in the operating room, collaborating with anesthesia and surgical teams to verify and dispense medications and provide real‑time medication guidance. Manages complex postoperative pharmacotherapy for a broad range of surgical services, including neurosurgery, urology, ENT, orthopedics, trauma, burn, emergency general surgery, breast, and bariatric surgery.
