About The Position
The Clinical Pharmacist II provides comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services, including drug distribution, IV admixture preparation, medical therapy management, drug information dissemination, and compliance with controlled substance regulations. The role directly supervises pharmacy support personnel. The summary describes the general nature and level of the work and is not exhaustive.
Requirements
- PharmD degree or a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with post-2006 experience.
- Registered pharmacist licensed in good standing in the state of the facility location, or eligible for licensure in that state.
- At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience.
- BLS.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Training Program.
- 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience.
- ACLS.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient drug distribution services.
- Prepare IV admixtures.
- Manage medical therapy.
- Disseminate drug information.
- Ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations.
- Directly supervise pharmacy support personnel.
