This is a temporary, benefitted opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist Generalist to make an immediate impact in patient care and clinical operations. Requirements

A PharmD (or equivalent) and current pharmacist licensure (or eligibility)
Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
Confidence working with complex therapies, including IV medications and oncology treatments
Strong attention to detail and sound clinical judgment
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York
Doctor of Pharmacy degree; or Master’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience; or Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience.

Responsibilities

Review, evaluate, and dispense medication orders, including: Unit dose medications IV preparations and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) Chemotherapy and investigational agents
Collaborate with prescribers and nursing staff to support safe and effective medication therapy
Monitor patient drug therapies and recommend adjustments or cost-effective alternatives when appropriate
Counsel patients on the proper use of prescribed medications
Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians in daily workflow and technical tasks
Help ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
