About The Position

Seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Oncology to support both the Cancer Care Clinic and inpatient BMT/Oncology services. This highly specialized role focuses on hematology, oncology, stem cell transplantation, biotherapy, and immune effector cellular therapies while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The pharmacist will play a key role in supporting the Sarah Cannon Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program, providing expertise in advanced oncology treatment protocols and cellular therapies.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Active Nevada Pharmacist License
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP)
  • One of the following: PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Pharmacy Residency OR Minimum 5 years of clinical oncology pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services for oncology, hematology, and BMT patients
  • Review, coordinate, and optimize complex oncology treatment regimens
  • Support stem cell transplant protocols and cellular therapy programs
  • Manage CAR T-cell and BiTE therapy treatment plans
  • Perform pharmacokinetic evaluations and therapeutic drug monitoring
  • Educate patients and caregivers on medications and treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain oncology treatment protocols, order sets, and clinical guidelines
  • Verify medication orders and ensure safe medication use practices
  • Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects
  • Serve on multidisciplinary committees and clinical teams
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers
