About The Position

The Clinical Outreach Representative is responsible for marketing efforts in a specific region, aiming to increase awareness of Discovery Behavioral Health and its specific brand. The role involves developing referral sources, maintaining internal and external relationships, and driving admissions to the organization. This is a full-time position requiring a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of direct outreach or clinical experience in the mental health field. The representative must be self-motivated, organized, and professional in all interactions, contributing to the company's growth and mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
  • At least three years of experience working in direct outreach or clinical experience in the mental health field
  • Professional demeanor in all interactions internally and externally
  • Extremely self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Dedicated, prompt, organized, and efficient work ethic
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with the expectations and mission of Discovery Behavioral Health
  • Maintain company standards in all interactions
  • Ability to contribute in a meaningful way regarding competition and changes in the behavioral health field
  • Must be local to Tampa, FL

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute regional strategic marketing plans to increase referrals and admissions for company growth and achieve measured revenue growth annually.
  • Develop and maintain referral relationships with healthcare professionals, including hospitals, other treatment programs, private practice professionals, and other appropriate targets.
  • Maintain activity levels of 85 field meetings, including 5 onsite tours and 3 in-services per month, or as assigned.
  • Contribute to referral and admissions prospect goals as identified by the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach.
  • Maintain the Sales Force database and activity records, including adding new contacts, updating accounts, and logging activities and events daily.
  • Complete weekly and end-of-month reports, including mileage, credit card, and end-of-month reports, as identified by the Regional Director.
  • Assess and constructively contribute to the development of marketing collateral and other department needs.
  • Assist the Regional Director/Territory Manager in identifying new opportunities for marketing efforts (direct mail, online, community-based).
  • Facilitate and support communication between outreach and admissions, outreach and clinical, outreach and management.
  • Facilitate and support communication between referral sources and admissions, referral sources and clinical, and referrals throughout Discovery Behavioral Health.
