Clinical Operations Manager, Nursing

Tribal Health•Scottsdale, AZ

About The Position

The Clinical Operations Manager, Nursing supports clinical nursing operations across Tribal Health’s IHS and tribally operated client sites, with primary responsibility for Emergency Department assignments. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the manager coordinates staffing and schedules, supports new Emergency Department contract launches, and addresses clinical and operational matters affecting nursing assignments and continuity of care. The role also serves as a clinical resource for travel nurses and client sites, including locations outside Tribal Health’s practice management contracts. The manager works clinical shifts as operational needs require and may temporarily serve in an Emergency Department nursing supervisor role when assigned. The position also supports onboarding, internal audits, designated Joint Commission activities, the Do Not Return process, and special clinical operations projects. It has no direct reports; temporary supervisory authority applies only when specifically assigned. Formal discipline, termination, compensation changes, and client-contract decisions require review and approval through the appropriate leadership process.
