About The Position

DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Clinical Operations Coordinator. This role is multifaceted, providing administrative support to several of DonorConnect's clinical operations teams within the Administration Department. The position involves both tactical and operational responsibilities, contributing to the organization's mission and success. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills to facilitate smooth operations and effective collaboration among supported departments, which may include Aftercare, Donor Family Services, Organ Recovery, Organ Referral, Recovery, & Organ Utilization Services, Professional Education/Hospital Services, Surgical Services, Tissue Donation, & Tissue Recovery Services, and Transportation Services. DonorConnect is a federally designated nonprofit community service organization dedicated to the recovery of organs and tissues for life-saving transplants, and employees are expected to embody I CARE+ values: integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect, and expertise. Onsite presence is required in Murray, UT.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years of administrative support experience
  • Strong skills with software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of standard computer/office equipment
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and responsible team player
  • Well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
  • Flexible, willing to assist others
  • Able to function and complete work with competing priorities and expectations
  • Sensitive with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to work well independently and to prioritize work
  • Sensitive to HIPAA requirements and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Technical and administrative support training preferred
  • Medical terminology preferred
  • Previous experience within healthcare or an organ procurement organization preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to several of DonorConnect's clinical operations teams as part of the Administration Department
  • Meet administration, data tracking, and assistance with special projects and department goals
  • Actively contribute to the organization's mission and overall success
  • Facilitate smooth operations and foster effective collaboration within and among the departments supported
