About The Position
Join our dedicated oncology team at Trinity Health’s Lacks Cancer Center, where compassion meets excellence in patient care. As a Clinic Nurse, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the oncology continuum—including radiation oncology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, breast health, and palliative care. This is a float position within a supportive, collaborative environment where your skills and compassion make a lasting impact.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan
- Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience required
- New graduate nurses must apply through the RN Residency Program
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- If hired with an ADN, enrollment in a BSN program is required within 6 months of hire, with completion within 4 years of hire
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and telephone triage
- Adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols
- Provide individualized education to patients and caregivers
- Communicate effectively with ordering providers and care teams
- Manage treatment side effects and coordinate medication refills
- Support patients throughout their oncology journey
