About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to join their Walk-in Clinic at the Ontario location. This role involves assisting physicians with direct patient care, including complicated treatments and procedures, and participating in patient and family teaching. The coordinator will act as a patient advocate, focusing on the facility's mission, and will provide coordination to clinical staff regarding patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician. Avita Health System serves communities through three hospitals and numerous clinic locations, having grown significantly to employ over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting or physician office or applicable experience.

Responsibilities

Assists other Physicians with direct patient care including assisting with complicated treatments and procedures.
Participates in patient and family teaching.
Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
