About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced nurse to join its cardiac testing team. The position cares for patients with varied cardiovascular histories and conditions, including post-MI, CABG, valve repair or replacement, PCI, heart failure, shortness of breath, and deconditioning. The role offers experience managing medication infusions during and after stress tests, airway management during and after transesophageal echocardiograms, and communication with cardiac fellows and attending physicians. The RN-driven echocardiography lab, including stress testing, is ICAEL accredited. The team is small and close-knit, works through varying workflows, and has no weekends, holidays, or call.

Requirements

• Associate of Nursing (ASN).
• Current Indiana state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required according to unit or department specialty and patient care policies.

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
