Clinical Nurse | Ophthalmology Office Practice
About The Position
Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Surgical Office Practice supporting our Ophthalmology Service! We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-centered Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical oncology environment. Work within a Nurse-Physician/APP based Ambulatory Care Practice Model. Provide clinical support to staff members and assist with management of a caseload of Surgical Oncology patients, with a focus in our Ophthalmology Surgical specialty. Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education, and symptom management. Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow up.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Active New York State RN license
- Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience
- BLS certification

- Previous ophthalmology experience preferred
