Clinical Nurse | Solid Tumor Gastrointestinal Medical Office Practice
About The Position
Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Office Practice Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact. Work within an Ambulatory Care Practice Model. Provide clinical support to staff members, and assist with management of a caseload of ambulatory GI medical oncology patients. Perform outpatient assessment and offer patient and family education. Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS Certification Required
- Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience
- Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
Nice To Haves
- GI and/or ambulatory care experience strongly preferred
