About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Clinical Nurse Supervisor is a transformational leader who functions as the first-line shift supervisor for the unit. They have the responsibility, accountability, and authority to deliver safe, effective, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the organization's Patient Care Services Division. This role utilizes Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model, supporting the mission, vision, values, and expectation of excellence of the organization. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is responsible for leadership and supervision of direct care staff, daily operations, leading the team to meet service goals, and maintaining and promoting professional development. They delegate care to other healthcare personnel consistent with their scope of practice, job description, and competency. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager.

  • 20 or more years of directly related experience (for Step 5 compensation level).

Responsibilities
