About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Clinical Nurse Supervisor is a transformational leader who functions as the first-line shift supervisor for the unit and has the following responsibilities: Works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager. Has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the organization Patient Care Services Division. Utilizes Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model, supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization. Responsible for leadership and supervision of direct care staff, daily operations, leading the team to meet service goals, maintaining and promoting professional development. Delegates care to other health care personnel consistent with their scope of practice, job description, competency. Other duties as assigned.
