About The Position

Talented PICU nurses deliver around-the-clock care for over 1,900 children annually, using advanced support technology not commonly found in pediatric settings. The Pediatric ICU is a 14 bed PICU specializing in trauma, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, respiratory failure, renal failure, CRRT, mechanical ventilation, trach to vent, pulmonary hypertension, hematology/oncology, sepsis, etc. We take acute & chronically ill children ranging in age from 0-21. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS and PALS certification
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of acute care RN experience in pediatrics, PICU, NICU, or adult ICU
- National Certification
