About The Position

Caring Hands Home Health Care, in partnership with 4Seasons Transportation, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Clinical Nurses (RN or LPN) to provide safe, individualized nursing care to students with medical and complex health needs during their school transportation. This role offers a rewarding opportunity for nurses seeking meaningful one-on-one care in a supportive environment with an excellent work-life balance.

Requirements

• Current registration in good standing with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), or College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides (CLHA)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Valid Alberta driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric, school health, home care, or community nursing experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe nursing care during student transportation.
• Deliver care in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
• Perform clinical procedures including but not limited to: Tracheostomy care, Suctioning, Enteral feeding, Oxygen therapy, Seizure management, and other nursing interventions as required.
• Monitor student health and respond appropriately to medical concerns.
• Communicate professionally with families, schools, transportation staff, and the clinical team.
