About The Position

We utilize an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to provide comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on their overall well-being. As an endoscopy nurse, you will provide exceptional care, ensuring pediatric patients feel at ease and have a positive experience. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource for patients, families, and fellow nurses, educating colleagues on patient outcomes in this specialized field. This role contributes to improving the health of patients and families, strengthening communities. It offers opportunities for shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, and collaboration with supportive colleagues. This is a full-time position working 9 AM-5:30 PM at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, with no weekends or holidays required. All roles require on-site presence, and employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- RN experience in procedural or endoscopy strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in the endoscopy and bronchoscopy suite.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for patients, families, and other staff nurses.
- Educate nursing colleagues on patient outcomes in the field of pediatric endoscopy and bronchoscopy.
- Collaborate with medical and surgical experts to offer a full range of diagnostic and treatment services.
