Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Nurse – Infusion in the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK). We provide comprehensive cancer treatments to children of all ages. The unit also provides 24-hour urgent care services to patients and family members.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
  • NYS RN License Required
  • BCLS, PALS Required
  • Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required
  • This opportunity is not open to new graduate RNs.

Nice To Haves

  • PICU and/or pediatric hematology/oncology experience highly preferred
  • A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions.
  • Capable of building strong customer (patient) relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a high energy and enthusiasm
  • An effective communicator, capable of resolving how to best reach different audiences and communicating based on that understanding

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding care for our youngest patients
  • Administer chemotherapy
  • Perform venous access procedures
  • Act as part of a multidisciplinary team providing continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
  • Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.
